You’ve got to love the Japanese. They invent the wackiest games and wacky is right up our alley. Which is why we take immense joy in bringing you, Yukigassen – Japanese Snowball Fighting.
Yukigassen is a game between two teams of seven players each. Played on a court, the objective is to capture the opposition’s flag while avoiding elimination via a snowball hit. Players wear special Yukigassen helmets with face shields and a set number of snowballs (usually 90) are made by each team before each round.
